There are many scientifically proven benefits of exercise and those are what we will present here.

One scientifically proven benefit of exercise is that it supercharges our brains. The medical meaning of this is that as we exercise, our blood is being pumped fast and thus making our brains function to their optimum.

By exercising, it has been observed that the decline of our brain’s function during old age seems to grow sharp again, and other mental disorders that come with old age could even be prevented like Alzheimer’s disease and others.

It is also mentioned that a person’s cognitive and mental functions are greatly improved by exercising. With exercise, it is said that new brain cells called neurons are growing in areas of our brain and that there is a stronger connection between these neurons. By exercising, studies mentioned that our memory and learning are stimulated.

A great way to lift your mood and our emotions is said to be through exercising. This is because when you exercise, your body has a relaxed and calm state. There are chemicals that are released by our brains that would make us feel good and these are endorphins, serotonin and dopamine.

Many experts agree that one of the best ways to reduce a person’s stress is to exercise. Through exercise, the negative emotions of a person, like worry, irritability, depression, anger, frustration and anxiety, are said to be an outlet for release.

It is said that exercise is an antidote for a depressed person. Studies have shown that exercise is much better than a drug that treats depression.

For no reason at all, we sometimes feel tired, and it is said that instead of taking a nap, your energy will have a boost and fatigue will be gone if you exercise instead. When a person has chronic condition related with fatigue, cancer and heart disease, his or her energy level is low, and so there are new researches that suggest that regular exercise will increase his or her energy level.

It is said that there is a direct relation between our physical inactivity and cardiovascular health condition, and that exercise can help prevent a cardiovascular disease. If a person lacks physical activity, he or she could risk a major factor for cardiovascular disease. It is mentioned that a regular physical exercise can make one’s heart stronger, thereby pumping more blood with less effort.
